Ashley Bergs is an accomplished environmental health and safety (EHS) professional with more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing environments. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Safety and Health Protection from UW-Stevens Point and has continued to build upon her expertise through professional certifications, earning both the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation and the highly respected Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential. Following graduation, Ashley began her career in EHS consulting, where she worked with organizations to improve workplace safety and regulatory compliance. She later advanced into leadership roles, serving as a safety manager and eventually as an environmental, health and safety manager overseeing multiple manufacturing facilities. Throughout her career, she has led initiatives focused on regulatory compliance, workers’ compensation management, employee engagement and cultivating strong safety cultures that drive meaningful organizational change. Today, she continues to oversee EHS operations across multiple plants, partnering with teams to improve performance and create safer workplaces. In addition to her professional responsibilities, Ashley is dedicated to serving the broader EHS community. She volunteers as secretary of the Marathon County Council of Safety, helping provide valuable resources, education and support to safety professionals throughout the region. Currently pursuing her MBA, Ashley is focused on strengthening her leadership, decision-making and business acumen. She hopes to gain a deeper understanding of organizational strategy, profitability and growth while developing greater confidence in leading both people and projects. Passionate about lifelong learning and mentorship, she aims to use her experience and education to inspire others and make a positive impact in her workplace and community. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys hiking, mountain biking, hunting, snowmobiling and exploring new destinations and outdoor adventures.
