Brooklyn DeRosa created and edited social media content, as an intern for Team Schierl Companies. She also provided planning and support for fundraising events and marketing campaigns. While in this role, she developed time management skills and knowledge on operations of the company. Brooklyn obtained her bachelor’s degree in marketing from UW-Stevens Point. Brooklyn looks forward to improving her leadership skills both personally and professionally. She is excited to have a competitive advantage and hopes to earn her MBA early in her career. She wishes to advance her applied experience in social media and digital marketing, with the help of her professors and peers. As the first person in her family to earn a master’s degree, Brooklyn’s personal goal is to be a role model for her younger sisters. After earning her degree, Brooklyn hopes to relocate and experience new places, people and opportunities. She aspires to grow outside of her comfort zone and be able to enjoy her career and free time while exploring the world. Brooklyn is determined to take on a leadership role in the future by enhancing her business leadership and networking skills. In her spare time, Brooklyn enjoys being outdoors by camping, canoeing and hiking. Her personal goal is to visit each National Park in the U.S. and backpack throughout Canada.
