Caden Combs is a dedicated golf and hospitality professional. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UWSP’s Sentry School of Business and Economics and is actively working toward PGA Class A Membership through the PGA Professional Golf Management program on the Executive Management track. Professionally, Caden serves as an assistant golf professional at SentryWorld in Stevens Point where he oversees daily pro shop operations, delivers exceptional guest experiences and manages inventory processes at a championship golf facility. He is especially passionate about growing the game of golf, directing junior golf instructional programs that serve approximately 80 young golfers and leading beginner-focused clinics that help new players develop their skills and confidence. His experience also includes athletic and tournament operations, with a strong background in event management, player relations and sports administration gained through competitive golf events and basketball tournament operations. During his undergraduate years, Caden spent three years as a student assistant with the Pointers men’s basketball program, supporting team operations, practice coordination and logistics. These experiences strengthened his commitment to teamwork, leadership and service. Through his MBA experience, Caden hopes to learn in a supportive environment, collaborate with fellow professionals to solve real-world challenges and build meaningful relationships with peers from diverse backgrounds. His long-term goal is to advance into executive leadership roles within the golf and hospitality industry, such as head golf professional, director of golf or general manager. Outside of work and academics, Caden enjoys cooking, weightlifting, golf and spending time with family and friends.
