While interning for Northwestern Mutual, Ally Markuson received her health and life insurance license. She also builds cliental and creates financial plans. In her previous role as a personal shopper for Walmart, Ally gathered items for customer orders and organized them by time slots. Ally graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from UW-Stevens Point. Ally is excited to become more successful in her professional career and grow confidence in her personal life. She looks forward to expanding her knowledge and expertise, by taking advantage of various learning opportunities. She hopes to equip herself with the practical tools needed to become a great leader and colleague and establish her own financial planning business in the future. A professional dream of Ally’s is to cultivate meaningful professional relationships. She is enthusiastic to further her career and make a difference in people’s lives. She wishes to be an inspiration to her family and others in the community. Ally will be the first person in her family to earn a master’s degree. As part of the UWSP cheer team, Ally has learned how to multitask and stay self- motivated. She looks forward to improving her decision-making skills in financial planning.
