Zach Roeder is an MBA candidate with a strong background in business leadership, operations and military service. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in marketing and management, building a foundation in strategy, leadership, and organizational effectiveness. Zach has built a 23-year career with Sherwin-Williams, where he currently serves as a facility manager in Wausau. Throughout his tenure, he has held multiple leadership roles, including assistant manager, store manager, multi-segment sales representative and facility manager. This progression reflects his long-term commitment to the organization and his ability to lead across retail operations, sales and facility management. His experience has strengthened his skills in team leadership, operational efficiency and consistent business performance. In addition to his corporate career, Zach served in the U.S. Army Reserve as part of an Engineer Detachment, completing two tours in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. His service earned him several honors, including the Army Commendation Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. These awards reflect his discipline, leadership and performance in high-pressure environments. After completing his MBA, Zach plans to continue advancing within Sherwin- Williams by pursuing executive leadership roles. He is focused on strengthening strategic execution skills and expanding his impact within the organization. Through his MBA experience, he aims to enhance his leadership abilities, deepen business knowledge, expand his professional network and further develop adaptive management and behavioral intelligence skills. He intends to apply these skills directly to his leadership responsibilities. Zach is also committed to community impact, focusing on identifying local needs and contributing his time and skills to support economic growth and social empowerment. Outside of work, he enjoys audiophile interests, billiards, mountain biking, downhill skiing and world travel.
