Tony Statz is a healthcare professional with a passion for combining medicine and business to drive meaningful impact. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from UW-Stevens Point in 2019, where he was actively involved in the Human Physiology Lab and served as an officer in the Pre-Med Club. These experiences provided valuable hands-on learning opportunities and helped develop his leadership skills while strengthening his interest in healthcare. After graduation, Tony began his career at St. Michael’s Hospital, gaining experience in both laboratory and emergency room settings. He later transitioned into the medical device industry, where he has spent the past five years in sales. Through this work, he has combined his interests in healthcare and business by building strong relationships and helping deliver innovative solutions that support providers and improve patient care. As an MBA candidate, Tony aims to strengthen his leadership abilities, expand his understanding of business strategy and intelligence and build meaningful connections with peers. His long-term goal is to become a more effective leader and mentor, helping guide the next generation of professionals regardless of industry. Outside of work, Tony enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, flying drones, playing board games and completing puzzles. He especially values sharing these experiences with his wife, whether exploring the outdoors or enjoying time together at home. Tony believes that collaboration is one of the most valuable drivers of personal and professional growth. He enjoys learning from others’ experiences and perspectives and looks forward to building lasting relationships throughout his MBA journey and beyond.
