Kelsy Saldivar recently completed a bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology at UWSP, where she conducted research on water pollution in the Fox Valley and participated in various academic projects related to political and psychological research. She is the host of the UWSP Point Out Loud: Women Trailblazers Podcast and a marketing and events coordinator intern at Samuels Group in Wausau where she has experience in marketing, event planning and client relations, supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders. Kelsy’s background includes coordinating events and sponsorships, managing communications across social media and digital platforms, and maintaining strong client and community partnerships. She also contributes to marketing strategy through content creation, brand alignment and project promotion. After graduation, Kelsy aims to work in marketing roles, management, digital media and social media marketing. She is eager to develop her leadership and strategic thinking skills through an MBA program and expand her professional network by connecting with industry leaders and mentors. In her free time, Kelsy enjoys watching TV to relax, spending time with family and friends and visiting Door County. She is passionate about volunteering and making a positive impact in her community. Bilingual in Spanish and English, Kelsy thrives in collaborative environments and is motivated to take on new challenges.
