Andrew Yang has developed a strong foundation in sports management and marketing through diverse professional experiences. He holds an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Century College and a bachelor’s in sports management with a minor in media and information from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Andrew’s professional experience spans both small business and professional sports. He spent four years as a sales and marketing manager in the clothing and footwear industry, overseeing inventory and brand strategy. He later joined Minnesota United FC’s experiential marketing team, where he contributed to fan engagement and brand activation. Beyond business, Andrew is passionate about youth development, serving as a camp lead and high school boys’ volleyball coach. Currently pursuing his MBA, Andrew aims to expand his network, step outside his comfort zone and build a career in professional sports—particularly in sports marketing and social media. Through the program, he seeks to develop real-world skills, prepare for the professional landscape and foster a sense of community and collaboration. Andrew is committed to making a meaningful impact in his local communities by serving as a relatable role model for youth exploring their educational paths. His interests include volleyball, soccer, football, basketball, fitness and fashion— reflecting his dynamic personality and creative spirit. As a student-athlete, Andrew brings discipline, teamwork and a strong work ethic to the MBA program and looks forward to supporting and learning alongside his peers.
