Kassidy Wood is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in accounting at UW-Stevens Point and will be completing her degree in May 2024. Throughout her undergraduate career she has been involved in the Accounting Club and interning for Wisconsin Valley Tax. Her experiences have given her a stronger sense of leadership and prepared her for the future. She has knowledge of tax preparation, payroll processing, bank reconciliation and many different accounting software platforms. Joining the MBA program, Kassidy is striving to expand her knowledge in leadership and effective decision-making to propel her career forward. She’s eager to build connections that will diversify her experience and perspective. Her goals after graduation are to become a certified public accountant and to utilize her skills to grow within her organization. Kassidy hopes to work for a company that provides opportunities for personal growth and flexibility. She hopes to make an impact on her local community leading by example and supporting other women in their professional journey. In her free time, Kassidy enjoys being outdoors and traveling. Her hobbies include hiking, fishing, camping and traveling to state and national parks.
