Marionville : de la balle-molle sous le soleil !
C’est la fin de semaine du 25 au 27 août qu’avaient lieu les séries éliminatoires de l’Association de balle-molle de Marionville. Tout au long du weekend ensoleillé, de nombreuses équipes se sont affrontées et dimanche après-midi, les Chiefs (sur la photo) l’ont finalement emporté 8-1 contre les Expos en finale du B, tandis que les Alouettes ont vaincu les Weed 6-4 en finale du A. —photo Vicky Charbonneau
Last weekendwas the final series of theMarionville Softball Association, which attracted hundreds of softball fans. On Thursday, August 17, the Limoges Youth Baseball hosted their annual Youth League Banquet, comprised of some 200 players, aged 4 to 17, for a total of 12 kids’ softball teams.This sport has always been present amongst Limoges community and is not about to disappear: “We are very excited for the second diamond to be completed for next season, stated StephanieMcLeod, one of the organizers of the softball league. It will allow us to accept more players as we had to refuse quite a few this year.
