Student Achievements
During the May half term, I was incredibly grateful to be nominated for and have attended the Youth Achievement Awards at City Hall in London. It was a privilege to be surrounded by so many inspiring young people who were making a positive difference in their communities. Hearing their stories was both motivating and humbling. TAMIRA R, 10SSR ROSIE O, 10SSR Congratulations to Rosie who was selected to play with a team for UK 50 in a series of basketball tournaments this June. The team played against clubs from Spain, France and Chile and came out victorious! Well done to Rosie and her team.
I was especially honoured to be shotlisted as one of three young people in London in the Inclusion and Diversity Award category for my film Survivance. This was a proud moment, as it recognised the hard work and passion that went into creating a film that promotes representation, inclusion, and understanding. This experience has strengthened my confidence and inspired me to continue making a positive impact. I am grateful for the opportunity to bring what I have learned back to school by encouraging inclusivity, supporting student voices through the school Parliament, and inspiring others to use their talents and creativity to contribute to a welcoming and diverse school community. Helping create a place where students can enjoy, achieve and empower!
