This year also sees the Second Edition of the Valoris Christmas Elf Challenge. This year marks 30 years of helping local children have a merrier Christmas thanks to Valoris Prescott-Russell’s annual Christmas Elves campaign. The 30th anniversary of the annual gift-giving program begins now and Valoris Prescott-Russell staff, volunteers, and sup- porters hope to fulfill every child in need’s Christmas wish this year. Last year’s program saw more than 480 children in the region enjoy holding a gift in their hands during the Christmas season. Christmas Elves displays are now in place at Valoris service centres in Prescott-Russell communities and also at several business sponsors throughout the region. All displays have a number of tags with the gender and age of a child in need written on it. Residents are encouraged to take a tag, buy a gift suitable for the child marked on the tag, and
