Winter Highlights June 2025 In June, we started with Rosie , our much loved therapy dog , lifting spirits with her visits, while Helping Hands volunteers created heartfelt care packages for Nourish Street Inc. Weekly Monday Happy Hours kept energy high, and the Knit and Natter group crafted with enthusiasm. Residents enjoyed a boardwalk stroll before the rain set in and a fun Friday trip with ice cream and scenic views. We celebrated Facility Manager Karen Conroy’s birthday with a party, enjoyed music from U3A Pine Rivers’ ‘Sophisticated Folk’ , and explored Old Petrie Town. June also featured a Resident Art Showcase , the launch of our “Spirit of Strathpine” virtual cruise with Italian flair, and Filipino cultural celebrations. Our edible garden took root, and Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea raised over $1,000, community spirit at its finest.
