event that brought everyone together.Thanks to support from our community, we’ve now arranged weekly bus outings for our residents. They love getting out and about, especially on our scenic afternoon drives, which always include a refreshing ice cream treat.We also had an amazing time aboard the Spirit of Strathpine cruise, with our first stops in Italy and the Philippines. It was a fun and engaging way to explore new cultures while enjoying a relaxing day out July: We recently launched a lovely pen pal program with Humpybong State School, where students shared heartfelt letters with our residents—creating beautiful intergenerational connections.As part of our Spirit of Strathpine cultural celebrations, we “visited” France and Brazil, enjoyed a vibrant Carnival concert, and marked Bastille Day with plenty of fun and flair.We also proudly celebrated the 50th anniversary of NAIDOC Week, honouring our First Nations people through meaningful art activities and by baking delicious lemon myrtle cookies.
