Mechanical Engineering Badge 1 – Board Game Design Challenge In this fun and fast-paced 1.5-hour workshop, Girl Scouts will become game designers using LEGO® bricks! They’ll brainstorm a unique board game concept, design and build a custom spinner, then test and improve their game through play. Get ready to create, collaborate, and bring their game to life—brick by brick! Attendee Cost: Please contact Snapology for pricing. Length: 1.5 hours Min/Max: 8/20 Mechanical Engineering 2 Badge Workshop – Roller Coaster Design Challenge Mechanical Engineering Badge 2 – Roller Coaster Design Challenge In this 1.5-hour LEGO® workshop, Girl Scouts will explore physics, engineering, and teamwork as they design and improve a roller coaster model. Through creative problem-solving and hands-on fun, they’ll gain confidence in their ideas and learn how to think like engineers. Length: 1.5 hours

In this workshop, Girl Scouts will become astronomers as they explore the solar system and beyond. They’ll create models of the planets, learn more about the sun, discover stars and constella- tions, and use tools to observe the sky. By the end, they’ll be ready to share what they’ve learned—and their own view of the uni- verse. Length: 2-3 hours

In this 3-hour workshop, Girl Scouts will step into the shoes of scientists and astronomers as they explore their neighbors in space. They’ll learn how telescopes help them see beyond what meets the eye, investigate the moon, discover constellations, and create models to share what they’ve learned. It’s a hands-on space adventure that builds curiosity, creativity, and confidence! Length: 2-3 hours

Mechanical Engineering Badge 3 – Model Car Design Challenge In this 1-hour LEGO® workshop, Girl Scouts will explore design think- ing, motion, and experimentation as they build and test their own model cars. Through hands-on activities and friendly competition, they’ll strengthen creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Length: 1 hour

Digital Movie Maker Badge Workshop

Space Science Explorer Badge Workshop

In this 3-hour workshop or multi-session class, Girl Scouts will ex- plore the exciting world of digital filmmaking through Snapology’s animation program. They’ll learn the basics of digital video, define their subject matter, plan and film their scenes, and use editing tools to bring their stories to life. After wrapping up their final cut, they’ll premiere their creation and celebrate their work as digital storytellers! Length: 3 hours or multiple sessions

In this 2-hour workshop, Girl Scouts will warm up their inventor minds and work together to solve real-world problems. They’ll identify needs, brainstorm solutions, build a model of their inven- tion, and share their ideas to help others. It’s a fun, hands-on way to explore creativity, innovation, and teamwork! Length; 2 hours.

In this awesome 2-hour badge workshop, Girl Scouts will be- come real-life astronomers and scientists as they explore the sun, observe the moon, and learn about the stars.
