For most of our markets, recognition of our outstanding achievement with the most prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise gives the Eskan brand and our global activities substantially increased credibility. This, added to the UK’s reputation, is incredibly important for our worldwide sales. What research did you do about the awards/ application process? Already having a Queen’s Award for International Trade, Eskan was aware of the application procedure.
How did you find the application process?
The online system was easy to navigate, and the detailed checks were encouraging. Did you learn anything about your own com- pany during the process? The process gave us time for reflection on the use of the product and how it could be further improved to give law enforcement end users more benefits. We concluded that we need to increase the time allocation for reflection in our business operations.
