Create beautiful landscapes and learn new techniques for painting a variety of landscapes in a loose and organic style. Students will begin with sketches and studies to strengthen their compositions. Jess will demonstrate paint application, color theory, specific techniques, and atmospheric perspective that will help students hone their observational skills. Students are encouraged to bring in photographs to use as references, all other supplies are provided. This class is for beginning and ongoing students. No class on 5/5. Create and design your very own leather tote and wallet in this 6-week class. Learn how to stitch leather using hand-sewing and lacing techniques. Customize your leather bag and wallet by applying paint, dye, and rivets to decorate the surface to create a truly personal piece of art that you can use! SEWING: JELLY ROLL WALL HANGING QUILTS
Create a simple and beautiful jelly roll quilt that you can use as a table runner or a wall-hanging piece. Bring your sewing machine to come and try out a fun and relaxing project! Christine will demonstrate finishing techniques and work with you to discover faster ways of operating and overcoming many sewing obstacles. There is a $25 materials fee to be paid to the instructor at the time of the class. Fee includes all materials need to complete your projects (except bobbins and a sewing machine).
