Shared Facilities

Dulwich College organises and hosts other open events throughout the year for the local Dulwich and wider London community, including school pupils and staff.

Every year Dulwich College provides facilities on its campus gratis or at charitable rates. The following are examples from 2016. Dulwich Chamber Choir rehearsals, concert and Victorian Evening; four Dulwich Festival talks; Dulwich Music Festival; Dulwich Air Cadets parade and reception; National Children’s Choir auditions; Dulwich Youth Orchestra; Christmas lunch for the residents of Dulwich polling station; Margaret Evison Foundation Concert; Concordia Chamber Choir events; WAC Arts Away Day; Kent Junior Chess Association; London Cycle Sportive; Charisma Gymnastics Summer Awards; NCCGB auditions; Glow summer party; Your London Publishing book launch; Harrison’s Fund bike ride in aid of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy; a media launch for Antarctic Endurance; and the British Horn Society. Almshouses; two quizzes for St. Christopher’s Hospice; a

Ten services sung by the Dulwich College Chapel Choir and ten Wednesday lunchtime concerts in Christ’s Chapel of God’s Gift, Dulwich Village. Host for 2016’s Visual to Vocal production, a collaboration between musicians from the English Touring Opera, the Dulwich Picture Gallery, elderly members of the local community and pupils from Dulwich College.

Host for the Dulwich Schools’ Debating Competition - 180 students from over 20 schools compete in a full day of debating.

Host for the annual three- day Dulwich Literary Festival that presents a variety of authors and conversations for over 1,350 visitors from the local and wider community.

Organiser of and host for the GE Moore Lecture Series, a series of lectures from experts in their fields spanning music, literature, theology and history.

Twice-termly events from the Science department as a centre for the Institute of Physics.
