The new CCPD-funded Bell 505 helicopter was formally introduced to the community in December 2025 at the Fort Worth Meacham International Airport. The event highlighted the aircraft ’ s role in enhancing the department ’ s aviation capabilities and strengthening public safety operations across the city. The Bell 505 is equipped with state-of-the-art mission hardware integrated by CNC Technologies, ensuring advanced performance, safety, and reliability in support of law enforcement operations. Chief Garcia stated, “ This aircraft ’ s advanced technology enhances our ability to keep officers on the ground safe. It also gives us the ability to respond swiftly and effectively, keeping Fort Worth residents safe as well.
