ADULT VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE NEW ALBANY PARKS & RECREATION
Adult Dodgeball is a recreational league for those over 18. The season will include 6-8 regular season matches and 2-4 playoff matches to determine a champion. Team captains will sign up for their entire team. Teams can have a maximum of 10 players. In order to be considered a resident team, the roster must be comprised of at least 70% residents. If under 70%, the team will be charged the non-resident team fee. In addition, the roster must be comprised of at least 30% residents. Residency is defined as living within the New Albany-Plain Local School District. The Recreation Supervisor will verify residency; teams will be invoiced after week 1 once residency is verified. Individuals not belonging to a team may call the office to be placed on the “Free Agent” list. If there are enough players on this list, a full team may be created. *Price per team

Located inside the New Albany Fieldhouse and Community Center, the New Albany Pickleball League is an open skill-level league meant for those who are experienced and new to the game of pickleball and are looking for a competitive setting. This league is meant to help everyone learn the game and generate a competitive rating that can be used for tournaments and any other competition

PICKLEBALL 101 MITCH MINK
Pickleball 101 will take you through all the basic concepts, from how to grip the paddle and strike the ball to court positioning and scoring. Students will also learn how to manage the New Albany Pickleball Complex signup boards so you can hit the ground running.
