“This is the new face of the
Conservatives,” Lisa MacLeod says proudly,
gesturing to Marilissa Gosselin.
At 36, MacLeod, who represents Nepean-
Carleton, is the youngest Ontario M.P.P. “But
that is going to change soon because Marilissa
will be elected in October,” predicts MacLeod.

Gosselin says that the experience of
working with start-up companies, small
businesses, and multinationals has given
her “the necessary knowledge and skills to
help make Ontario lead again.”
“A fully bilingual certified management
accountant with several years of experience
within the private and public sectors, she
has developed an expertise in cost
accounting, contract bidding, budget
analysis and forecasting – skills that will be
valuable to the Ontario PC team as we tackle
the large deficit that the McGuinty Liberals
have racked up over the years. She knows
the importance of accountability, something
that has been sorely lacking under the Liberal
regime,” Gosselin says.
