vows and said those words infamous words, “ I Do. ” It was the happiest moment in my life. I was marrying my best friend in the whole world since childhood. The man I am still head over hills in love with today. My love as I think of you as I always I will be dancing, smiling, and celebrating the way we would have done together if you were here. TRACEY COX Her Story & His Glory A Widow’s Journey – Pathway toward Healing He was a loving devoted husband, father, brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend. His smile was so bright you could not only see it from a mile away it could transform an entire room. He always made you feel good whenever he was around. You must understand my husband was truly a very special man who took pride in giving of himself to help others. How could a woman allow herself to move on without thoroughly processing the loss of a once in a life-time love affair. I needed to give myself and my children the time required to heal, to rebound as much as possible. I could not bring another man into my life until I knew we were all already. Healing is a process it is a journey and that journey has taken me and my children ten years. I would have it no other way. This year Shawn and I would be celebrating our 28 th Wedding Anniversary.
