Your truck’s original steering box was engineered in the 1960s, called a Series 700, and was made by Delphi. The replacement unit is also made by Delphi, but it was designed in the 2000s and it is called a Series 680. So what makes the Delphi Series 680 a better mousetrap? • M odern internal valving provides a variable assist feel to the driver’s steering input. The further you turn the wheel the greater the assist. The benefits to you: the power assist is limited in the centered position to help the vehicle track straight on the highway. • The Delphi replacement steering box is a 16:1 ratio. The benefit to you: effectively 3.5 turns from lock-to-lock compared to 4.5 turns. • Larger internal piston diameter (80mm) for greater power assist. • Larger diameter bearings support the output/Pittman shaft. • Frame spacers included. • 1-year warranty To use the steering box with your truck’s existing steering shaft (a female, D-shaped spline design), the input shaft adapter (male, O-shaped) will have to be cut-down with a grinding wheel. This is a NEW replacement unit for the problem prone original Dodge steering. The PSC Motorsports Dodge XD steering gear box was designed around the 2010 and newer dodge XD platform and modified for a
direct bolt-in installation using the OEM pressure and return lines and OEM 36 spline pitman arm. The failure prone lower bearing size has been increased from 35mm to 45mm to prevent excessive side-to- side deflection of the sector shaft, the main cause of “Dodge steering wander.” NOTE: Does not work with any aftermarket steering box braces.

The Second Generation Dodge 2500/3500 4WD truck steering gears have always had failures to the lower sector shaft bearing and seals due to the single bearing design. PSC now offers
a brand new extreme duty gear box replacement that offers a 45MM bearing and sector shaft to eliminate any side to side flex.
