Delphi 680 series REMAN Steering Box (‘94-‘02 4WD) GG-800112A: $449.00 The 800112 steering box offered for ‘94-‘02 trucks is a remanufactured unit.

This power steering pump includes the Magnafine filter MF-3810000.

Your truck’s original steering box was engineered in the 1960s, called a Series 700, and was made by Delphi. The replacement unit is also made by Delphi, but it was designed in the 2000s and it is called a Series 680. So what makes the Delphi Series 680 a better mousetrap? • M odern internal valving provides a variable assist feel to the driver’s steering input. The further you turn the wheel the greater the assist. The benefits to you: the power assist is limited in the centered position to help the vehicle track straight on the highway. • The Delphi replacement steering box is a 16:1 ratio. The benefit to you: effectively 3.5 turns from lock-to-lock compared to 4.5 turns. • Larger internal piston diameter (80mm) for greater power assist. • Larger diameter bearings support the output/Pittman shaft. • Frame spacers included. • 1-year warranty To use the steering box with your truck’s existing steering shaft (a female, D-shaped spline design), the input shaft adapter (male, O-shaped) will have to be cut-down with a grinding wheel. To simplify the installation, upgrade your factory steering shaft to the Borgeson steering shaft. The installation is a simple bolt in place operation. The Delphi box and Borgeson shaft are a full circle spline design. Rebuilt exclusively for Geno’s Garage by a leading steering gear manufacturer.

NEW Steering Box (‘03-‘20, 4WD) ‘09-‘20 BORG-800124: $610.00 ‘03-‘08 (6 BOLT) BORG-800123: $657.00 NOTE: Does not work with aftermarket steering box braces. 3-year manufacturer warranty.

Borgeson has sourced and adapted a brand new Delphi 684 series power steering box for the ‘03-‘20 Ram trucks. The Borgeson/Delphi 684 series “Dodge Box” offers the largest piston diameter for the most available power assist and a modern variable valve for stable highway driving. Steering gear features a 16:1 ratio for 3.5 turns lock-to-lock. Fits all OEM and dropped pitman arms. Uses OEM pitman arm.

MAGNAFINE INLINE POWER STEERING FILTER MF-3810000: $19.95

This filter provides dual filtration that helps protect and improve the performance of your power steering system. As the fluid passes through

the filter a powerful internal magnet attracts all the damaging ferrous particles while the secondary filtration media removes the remaining non-ferrous materials down to 3 microns. The filter installs inline on the return-to-pump line of the power steering system. It has an internal bypass if it becomes overrun past its service life of 10 to 30 thousand miles. It is recommended to protect and extend the life of the power steering system.

Steering Shafts Depending on usage, the Dodge Ram steering coupler can show signs of wear in as little as 50,000 miles. This wear, which causes play in the truck’s steering, is even more noticeable if your truck is used for plowing, towing or if oversized tires have been installed. Replacing the worn steering shaft with another OEM shaft only gives you a temporary fix. Borgeson has replacement steering shaft assemblies with precision needle bearing u-joints available for ‘79-‘19 Dodge Ram trucks. INTERMEDIATE SHAFT BUSHINGS ‘03+, 1500/2500/3500/4500 2WD &4WD EMF-DSB-3999: $19.95 pair

One of the steering problems we found on our Ram Turbo Diesel trucks is that the little bushing on the intermediate steering shaft can wear allowing movement within the shaft. An inexpensive fix to this problem is a bushing that can be pressed into the collar. This bushing is machined out of aluminum and has a tapered end to allow for ease of installation. The whole process takes about 5 minutes to install, is extremely inexpensive and works wonders for your steering column.

NOTE: Before ordering shaft bushings, please inspect the bushing housing on the end of the steering shaft. It should look like this photo.
