paid.” The estate amount to but a very few dollars and this was soon spent. The nephew took the Bible with some distain and placed it on his shelf and it was soon forgotten. Thirty-five years later a depression hit. The man had nothing whatso ever. His oldest son invited him to come and stay with them. He packed his trunk with what few articles he possessed and then remembered his aunt’s Bible. It was removed from the shelf where he had put it 35 years before, dusted off and placed in the trunk. But in doing so, some thing fell out from between the leaves. It was a bank note and fur ther investigation revealed s o m e $5000.00 scattered between th e leaves of the book. Many overlook the treasures which are concealed in the pages .of Gods holy Word. So the carved figure of a lamb was placed on the tower, not only to commemorate that event, but to-re- mind all of the Lord Jesus who came to this world to die as the Lamb of God for our sins. As Isaiah tells us, “He was wounded for our trangres- sions, he was bruised for our iniqui ties: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” (53:5). * "Nothingliesout of the reach of prayer except that which is out of the will of God." * * * * Years ago, an elderly woman died and left all of her worldly goods to her nephew.
