BB6Y LENS November 2019 Vol 6: Issue No. Fourteen Excellence Through Partnership

THE

Thursday night fever. Dancing fun.

DISCO FUN The autumn half-term fi nished with hundreds of children enjoying Halloween themed discos on both sites. An amazing myriad of creative costumes added to the atmosphere. Dancing and having a great time helped to cheer everyone up at the end of a wet week. HARVEST ASSEMBLIES Children revelled in performing our chosen Harvest songs during split year-group assemblies. Parents generously donated items of food for our local food-bank. All contributions are very much appreciated by the school and the food-bank. Our local food bank reports that it is busy as ever and the demand continues to rise. Thank you to all our children and families for helping and giving. BLUE PETER BADGE Congratulations to Erin in Y3! She has been working hard and has been rewarded with a Blue Peter badge! Blue Peter badges can be used to gain free entry to over 200 Blue Peter attractions through the UK.

Ask Erin about her Norwegian Forest Cat- Darth Vader - when you see her!
