Football! Continues at Abbey
TEAMWORK On Tuesday 3rd March the Abbey Boys football team were back in action, playing away at Lyng Primary. The boys were excited to get out on to the pitch and play the sport they love. They worked tirelessly from start to fi nish and were only denied by a very good performance from Lyng's Goalkeeper. The boys defended well throughout and kept a clean sheet. The game ended 0-0, an end to end match, much more exciting than the score line suggests. Well Done Boys! On Tuesday 10th March Abbey Girls football team were in action this time, taking on Hargate Primary. The girls were competitive from the very fi rst whistle and the game looked like it could go either way. The girls continued to work together and were unfortunate to concede 2 late goals. The game ended 2-0 with Hargate Girls ecstatic with their victory a compliment to our girls who fought hard and made it tough all the way to the fi nal whistle. Well Done Girls! On to the next!
