Metro New Jersey Chapter 2015 President, Robert J. Bovasso, Jr., MAI
I am honored and proud to serve as the 2015 President of the Metro New Jersey Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Being the first Appraisal Institute chapter in the entire country, there is so much history and tradition associated with our chapter; I am humbled that I have the opportunity to play a role in our continued success. Our Chapter offers a strong educational program for individuals who have an interest in the real estate appraisal profession. We are the only chapter in New Jersey that currently offers all of the courses needed to meet the educational requirements for a General Appraisal License. In addition, our chapter sponsors several programs and seminars throughout the year, including the Princeton Conference, which is a day-long program and the longest running appraisal conference in the country. This year’s 79 th conference will be held on April 24 th at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Princeton, NJ. Many relevant topics will be covered, and the conference has been approved for continuing education credits by several boards. We also sponsor a fundraiser at TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater New Jersey, the home of the Somerset Patriots. This year’s event will be held on June 7 th and all proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to Camp Quality of New Jersey, whose mission is to let kids with cancer be kids again. I encourage everyone to visit our website at www.ai-newjersey.org for more information about these events as well as other seminars, conferences and classes that we offer throughout the year. 79 th Annual Princeton Conference – Friday, April 24, 2015
