Vista Ridge; a 31 unit independent living community Benchmark Construction awarded $20m contract

XFORD,PA — Bench- mark Construction Company of Brown- stown has been awarded a $20 million contract from Presbyterian Senior Living to construct Vista Ridge, a new independent living com- munity at Ware Presbyterian Village in Oxford. The first phase will include construc- tion of a 31 unit Independent Living Apartment Building, a community and dining pa- vilion and all associated site work and infrastructure to accommodate future phases of apartments and cottag- es. The Independent Living O DOYLESTOWN, PA — H2L2 Architects / Planners has completed the schematic design for the Delaware Valley Col- lege Life Sciences Building in Doylestown. The 41,000 s/f struc- ture will satisfy the College’s increasing demand for teaching and research space; allow for expanded community and busi- ness partnerships; and enhance the College’s presence along the Rt. 202 corridor. Ground will be broken in fall 2012 with comple- tion expected in spring 2014. “As Delaware Valley College moves toward university status in 2014,” said Arthur Glass , vice president for Finance and Administration at Delaware Valley College, “this signature building will allow for continued academic rigor and fundamen- tally reinvent our students’ con- nection with the life sciences.” Sited at a critical terminus of the historic campus quadrangle, the “front-porch” colonnade of the Life Sciences Building will fit comfortably with the sur-
