Job context The Assistant Director of Campus Services will own the service delivery of Campus & Facili- ties Management services across the 5 London campuses a need for strong operational leader- ship on campus, liaising with a wide selection of stakeholders. Job purpose The Assistant Director of Campus Services & FM will lead soft services on campus, be the internal client for hard services delivery and the key estates lead engaged with all stakeholders across the campuses, ensuring that in scope services are delivered to the agreed service lev- el standards. The post holder will develop ef- fective working relations with staff at all levels across estates & facilities, faculties, partners and suppliers to ensure the smooth running of EAF operations and associate services. Main duties and responsibilities • To oversee the campus operations function across Mile End, Whitechapel, Charter- house Square, West Smithfield, Lincoln’s Inn and Chislehurst to include academic and residential cleaning, grounds maintenance, post room, waste, portering, in scope con- tractor management and site health & safe- ty. • To line manage the Operations Manager Mile End and the Operations Manager FMD on their daily tasks on campus. • To work closely with the Assistant Director Engineering & Estates Management, on the deliovery of mechanical and electrical ser- vices to the Mile End Campus. • To work closely with the Assistant Director Security & Head of Security on the delivery of security services on the Mile End campus to ensure safety and security are a high pri-

ority. • To work closely with commercial services and residences on the delivery of house- keeping services during the summer post from move-out in June to move-in in Sep- tember. • To communicate with the stakeholders on the Mile End campus on a regular basis through 1-2-1 stakeholder meetings, group email and campus open forums once a quarter each year. • To be undertake any strategic project man- agement activity on behalf of the Director Campus & Commercial Services. • To ensure that all of the FM teams are in- vested in through reviews, training, team talks and events to make them aware of the up to date business plans. • The post holder is expected to comply with all Health and Safety policies and proce- dures and to ensure that all activities are undertaken in a safe manner.
