Surrounded by a beautiful garden with swimming pool, Villa Necchi Campiglio was built in the early 1930s by architect Piero Portaluppi for a wealthy Milanese industrialist. A wonderful example of Art Deco, the villa sheds light on the life of the city’s privileged bourgeoisie in the first half of the 20th century. In 2001, sisters Gigina Nedda Campiglio and Nedda Necchi donated the villa to Italy’s FAI , a non-profit organisation that aims to protect Italy’s cultural heritage. This gorgeous villa was finally opened to the public, allowing visitors to admire its wonderful Art Deco interiors and works of art.
