With seven shop windows and three floors displaying unique pieces of furniture and home- ware items, the Fornasetti store is a veritable temple of art. Each room presents a different theme, with a mesmerizing blend of dé- cor, surrealistic wallpaper designs and timeless plates depicting Lina Cavalieri, Piero Fornasetti’s muse.

Also known as “Bar dei Lù” (Lù’s Bar) after siblings and owners Lucilla, Lucrezia and Ludovico Bonaccorsi, LùBar is one of Milan’s most popular and sought-after venues. Located within Villa Reale , this café, bistro and restaurant is a peaceful oasis complete with terrace and beautiful winter garden, offering customers a range of Sicilian delights.

Surrounded by a beautiful garden with swimming pool, Villa Necchi Campiglio was built in the early 1930s by architect Piero Portaluppi for a wealthy Milanese industrialist. In 2001, sisters Gigina Nedda Campiglio and Nedda Necchi donated the villa to Italy’s FAI , a non-profit organisation that aims to protect Italy’s cultural heritage. This gorgeous villa was finally opened to the public, allowing visitors to admire its wonderful Art Deco interiors and works of art.

Dario Comini works magic to create exceptional cocktails that have made Nottingham Forest into a world-class Italian cocktail bar. Repeatedly featured on “The World’s 50 Best Bars” list, this mixology venue fully embraces originality by blending molecular gastronomy and the art of mixing drinks to create outstanding exotic cocktails.

Built between 1790 and 1796 as the private residence of Count Ludovico Barbiano di Belgiojoso, and later refurbished to host Milan’s Modern Art collections, the Neoclassical Villa Reale is surrounded by a lovely garden and offers a sublime collection of art. From Hayez and Canova to Segantini and Modigliani, this former noble residence is one of the city’s most interesting cultural attractions.

This unique exhibition takes place in total darkness to stimulate the senses. Since 2005, the Institute of the Blind has promoted this deep, thought-provoking experience, immersing guests in darkness for one hour and fifteen minutes in rooms that simulate daily life situations. This unique experience ends in the Institute’s café, where visitors can express their thoughts while still plunged in darkness.

In the gardens of an Art Nouveau villa in the heart of the secluded Quadrilatero del Silenzio lives a colony of pink flamingos, a striking, rather surreal sight in a major city like Milan. Imported from Chile and Africa by Cavalier Invernizzi, these brightly- coloured residents live peacefully in Porta Venezia, daily surprising passersby.

This eclectic store is entirely devoted to menswear, displaying a luxurious range of over forty Italian and international brands. Stylish shirts, knitwear, ties, accessories, shoes, unique vintage pieces and a bespoke tailoring service blissfully combine, making Full Milano a store for the modern day gentleman.
