Bar Luce was designed in 2015 by American film director Wes Anderson, who decided to create a unique retro bar that recalls Fifties and Sixties Milan. Located in Fondazione Prada ’s first building, the café immerses customers in a film set, with pastel colours, small Formica tables, pinball machines, a jukebox and vaulted ceilings. This is one of the city’s trendiest meeting spots to enjoy breakfast or an aperitivo . Largo Isarco, 2 +39 02 5666 2611 fondazioneprada.org/barluce/ @fondazioneprada

A must see at any time of the year, the Bagni Misteriosi are an oasis of peace providing a respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. During the warmer months of the year, visitors can have a swim or enjoy an aperitivo al fresco, while in winter the swimming pool is transformed into an ice-skating rink, with a charming mountain chalet adding to the atmosphere. Plenty of events, local markets, shows, activities for children, workshops and theatrical performances regularly take place.

Within the charming setting of Cascina Cuccagna , La Fioreria is a small store displaying a beautiful variety of unusual flowers and plants. Founded by Irene Cuzzaniti, it’s more than just a flower shop, bringing together people interested in botany, flowers, plants and nature generally, and regularly hosting workshops and presentations.
