This peaceful, quaint spot with a bohemian atmosphere has small wooden tables and an attractive pergola. An institution in Milan, Pasticceria Sissi was opened in 1990, with delicious sweet treats prepared in the pasticceria’s lab located by the shop. Sissi ’s sweet and savoury croissants are the café’s speciality – a must try.
Specialising in baked goods and breakfast pastries, Pavé offers a range of traditional and modern cakes, brioches, panettone and savoury pastries. The décor is convivial and laidback, with mismatched chairs and a long wooden table with shared seating. It’s the perfect place to indulge in an informal breakfast with a velvety-foamed cappuccino, surrounded by vintage furniture and décor. The divine selection of pastries is a dream come true.

This is one of the city’s trendiest meeting spots to enjoy breakfast or an aperitivo . Largo Isarco, 2 +39 02 5666 2611 fondazioneprada.org/barluce/ @fondazioneprada
