Holmes Professor and Dean, College of Medicine RE: OB/GYN Departmental ARPT Guidelines Dear Dr. Ball: The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology will accept the College of Medicine guidelines as its own with the addition of an addendum to the current departmental ARPT guidelines; specifically regarding the criteria for appointment and reappointment in the Volunteer track. If approved, from this point forward, we would like the required materials to be submitted to include: 1. Record of Action Form 2. Department Director’s recommendation in letter form and approval signature on Record of Action Form. 3. Current curriculum vitae of faculty candidate 4. At least one letter of recommendation from faculty who are in a position to judge the quality of the candidate’s activities. 5. Letter of Offer to candidate (for appointments only) If these meet with your approval, please add this addendum to our current criteria. Thank you. Sincerely,
