• Work with the University Compliance team to develop and monitor Risk Assessments and Standing Operating Procedures to deliver a consistent standard of service. • Manage contractors for cleaning, maintenance and washing machine rental in accordance and in line with the University Code of Conduct for Contractors. • Ensure that Health and Safety regulations, practices and procedure are followed by staff and that appropriate Health and Safety training is provided. Comply with current Health and Safety legislation. • Ensure compliance with all University and Warwick Accommodation management policies and procedures and review those procedures on a regular basis. • Liaise and work closely with the Senior Property Manager and other colleagues, audit systems and process, and introduce new working practices and equipment as appropriate to ensure optimum efficiency and quality of service. • Expert knowledge on Housing legislation and compliance. • Represent the Department and the University at professional bodies and meetings, such as ASRA (Association for Student Residential Accommodation), and Students Liaison Meeting. • Act as the Warwick Accommodation’s Duty Manager as and when required.
