I CONVERTED to Judaism in 2020. My husband’s Jewish. When we started dating, I would join his family for all the holidays and, over the years, I start- ed to really like it. It just felt right. I knew I was going to have kids, and I wanted to do it for them as well. I actually get more confusion from people in the Jewish community. When I tell them my name, they’re like, What? Why are you wearing a chai neck- lace if your name’s Kris- tina? Then I explain that I converted, and they’re like, Oh cool! I get that a lot.
