Technical Advisory Committee The TAC served as a key advisory body guiding the development and implementation of Fort Worth’s comprehensive transportation strategy. Its primary purpose was to provide technical expertise and stakeholder input to help the development of a data-driven Plan that is aligned with regional growth and infrastructure needs. TAC stakeholders included city planners, transportation engineers, and policy advisors who helped frame the goals and data presented at the events. Their expertise enabled the development of Big Ideas that were both practical and strategically aligned with long-term infrastructure goals.
Community Advisory Committee The CAC played a critical role in shaping a transportation strategy that reflects the lived experiences, values, and priorities of Fort Worth residents. The CAC brought together diverse voices to guide decision-making. Members helped to shape the Plan by reviewing analysis outcomes and engagement materials, offering feedback, and helping define criteria for future transportation investments. Community stakeholders encompassed residents, neighborhood associations, business owners, and advocacy groups. Their input was vital in identifying local priorities, safety concerns, and infrastructure gaps. The City emphasized inclusivity by collecting demographic data and tailoring outreach to underserved areas.
Interdepartmental Advisory Committee The Interdepartmental Advisory Committee (IAC) brought together representatives from City departments with roles in transportation planning, capital delivery, operations, and policy implementation. The IAC supported cross-department coordination throughout the planning process, helping align the Master Roadway Network, TIP, and implementation strategies with ongoing City initiatives, regulatory requirements, and capital programs. Their input made the Plan practical, implementable, and fully integrated with City processes for development review, capital budgeting, maintenance, and long-term infrastructure delivery.
