A significant pipeline of commercial and residential projects are poised to transform the Central Area. This growth will reshape the area’s character and amenities while intensifying traffic demands on both the core and citywide roadway network. An overview of these major developments is provided in Table 4.1 . With these projects on the horizon, the Central Area becomes a focal point of regional growth, requiring strategic investments to expand roadway capacity, strengthen multimodal connectivity, and improve overall travel experience.

The development pipeline captures projects within and adjacent to the Central Area boundary, reflecting the potential for nearby development to generate trips and influence travel demand in the core.
