Butler Place and United Riverside Access to Butler Place and United Riverside involves a complex interaction of regional freeway connections, neighborhood streets, and the Trinity River. The Access Butler Place Plan identified a preferred set of access improvements, including reconfiguration of the US-287/I-35W connector ramp and the redesign of Spur 280 entering downtown, that together improve safety and accessibility for this neighborhood.
Near Southside The Near Southside continues to attract significant investment, but several corridors connecting it to Downtown and major regional facilities, including Texas Health Resources and Tarrant County College, face capacity constraints and active transportation gaps. The IH-30 crossing is identified as a key candidate for high-capacity transit integration.
