8.9. Prioritized Project Lists The prioritized project lists organize major roadway improvements into four groups that align with the City’s planning and funding horizons. The 2026, 2030, and 2034 investment cycle lists represent the fiscally constrained portion of the program. These projects were selected based on readiness, delivery complexity, system performance needs, and available financial capacity within each cycle.

Beyond the near- and medium-term investments, a ranked long-term project list identifies future roadway needs that support continued growth and the City’s ultimate network build-out. These projects reflect Fort Worth’s priorities based on the goals and performance outcomes of the MTP and provide a clear view of where future investment may be most beneficial.

A separate prioritized list identifies new Active Transportation projects. These improvements were re-evaluated and ranked using updated data to reflect current demand, connectivity gaps, and safety needs. The ranked list highlights system-wide multimodal priorities and helps guide future investment decisions consistent with the goals of the MTP. Together, these lists form a coordinated program that helps Fort Worth advance ready- to-deliver improvements in the near term while positioning larger, more complex, or future- phase projects for long-term success.
