8.9.1. 2026 Investment Cycle Project List The 2026 investment cycle, as shown in Figure 8.13 , includes a set of high-readiness roadway investments that offer immediate mobility, connectivity, and safety benefits. These projects were selected based on their ability to advance quickly into design or construction, their role in creating continuous corridors, and their contribution to reducing pressure on secondary roads. Several larger or more complex corridors are represented through shorter, implementable segments to support phased delivery while still providing meaningful operational improvements. Projects in this cycle include a mix of roadway widenings, intersection upgrades, new connections, and design-only efforts that prepare larger corridors for future phases. Together, they address near-term congestion, enhance access to major employment areas, and strengthen connections across rapidly growing parts of the city
