Local Streets Local Streets provide direct access to homes, businesses, and other neighborhood destinations and represent the lowest order in Fort Worth’s roadway hierarchy. Their primary function is to support property access

Industrial Minor Collectors Industrial Minor Collectors, as shown in Figure 1.34 , support industrial and freight-intensive land uses. These facilities are critical connectors between industrial districts, arterial corridors, and regional freight networks. Their design requires pavement structures capable of supporting heavy trucks, curb return radii that accommodate large vehicles, and driveway spacing and access management appropriate to industrial operations. The Industrial Minor Collector cross-section shall apply within mapped Freight Priority Areas.

Limited Local Street (40-foot ROW) Limited Local Streets, as shown in Figure 1.35 , serve clusters or zero-lot- line housing and carry daily traffic volumes of 1,000 vehicles or fewer. They cannot exceed 800 feet in length or serve more than 30 dwelling units, and are limited to single-family access only. No on-street parking is allowed beyond clustered on-street areas (in which additional width is supplied for parking stalls).
