Missouri Development Finance Board, Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the United Way of Greater St. Louis and Past President of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL), the St. Louis Bar Founda- tion as the first African American ever elected to those positions. Additionally, he highlighted the Grand Polemarch's service as Missouri Bar Association delegate to the Ameri- can Bar Association House of Delegates and as a member of the ABA Commis- sion on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in his profession as a lawyer. Brother Jacob eloquently described how Brother Shelton saliently achieved a great deal of eminence and success in his life, and through it all he has never forgotten from whence he came. Brother Jacob uttered that Grand Polemarch Shelton is most proud of his role and responsibility as a husband to Silhouette and First Lady of Kappa Alpha Psi D’Anne Shelton, father to their children and grandfather to the grandchildren. Lastly, Brother Jacob affirmed and closed out what he coined as the ‘magic toast’ to the Grand Polemarch, by raising his glass while brothers and others pres- ent simultaneously raised their glass to “a man for all seasons.” Hear, hear!
