The Commercial Real Estate Awards showcase excellence in real estate development, including innovation, impact, leadership and contributions to the community. The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, De- cember 30, 2014 at 5 p.m. The honorees will be announced on January 27, 2014 at the chap- ter’s Annual Meeting and Com- mercial Real Estate Outlook at the Short Hills Hilton. Nomina- tions are being accepted for: Lifetime Achievement
Award , which recognizes an individual who has had a dis- tinguished and long-standing record of service to the industry and the community, as well as significant personal accom- plishments. Impact Award , which hon- ors up to two firms and/or in- dividuals, at least one of which is a member of the New Jersey Chapter, that have had a sig- nificant impact onNewJersey’s commercial and industrial real estate development industry. Industry Service Award , which recognizes a firm, an individual or an entity that has made a substantial contribu- tion to the commercial and in- dustrial real estate industry in support of the industry’s goals. The Deal of the Year Awards call for entries is coming soon. Design Competition NAIOP New Jersey will once again showcase original work by a talented designer on the cover of the Gala Journal and in the event’s overall theme and décor. The 8th Annual Design Competition is open to NAIOP New Jersey members and non- members age 18 and older who are design professionals, as well as students studying art, architecture and design. The winning design will define the color scheme, lighting and stag- ing, and will be the template for marketing materials, signs, invitations, cocktail napkins, linens and the PowerPoint Awards Presentation. The deadline for entries is Decem- ber 30, 2014 at 5 p.m. The winning designer will receive prizes and promotional benefits valued at approxi- mately $2,000 and will be fea- tured in a news release and in NAIOP New Jersey Chapter publications.
