Day 6: Franschhoek - Hermanus (135kms/2hrs 15mins) Today it’s time to journey towards the pretty coastal town of Hermanus. On arrival, take the time to explore the scenic Hermanus Cliff Path or savour some fish and chips on the coastline, whilst looking out for marine wildlife along the shore. Day 7: Hermanus - Plettenberg Bay (444kms/4hrs 58mins) Begin your drive along the coast to Plettenberg Bay. Be sure to stop at the pretty coastal towns of George, Wilderness and Knysna on the way. Why not seize an opportunity to head out on the water to Knysna Lagoon! Days 8-9: Plettenberg Bay Enjoy two days to explore Plettenberg Bay. With upmarket boutiques and cafes dotted along the coast, it makes the perfect base. With so much to see and do, make sure you leave ample time to explore the indigenous forest in the nearby nature reserves. Day 10: Plettenberg Bay - Eastern Cape (340kms/3 hrs 45mins) Spend most of today driving towards Pumba Water Lodge in the Eastern Cape in preparation for your South African Safari. With unparalleled views over Lake Cariega, Pumba Water Lodge offers an unforgettable stay with thrilling game drives, bush walks, and the balance of a cosy lodge retreat with a swimming pool, stargazing and wonderful food for downtime. Days 11-12: Eastern Cape Spend the next two days on Safari with guided Big 5 game viewing, game drives and bush walks. Start your days with a game drive in the acres of glorious bushland and try and catch a rare glimpse of the magnificent white lions within the reserve. Afterwards, enjoy several hours at leisure until you embark on your afternoon game drive. Day 13: Eastern Cape - Gqeberha - UK After breakfast, wave goodbye to your lodge and return your vehicle this morning in Gqeberha (formally Port Elizabeth) before flying home to the UK with a camera full of pictures and memories of your South African adventure.

Day 1: UK - Cape Town On arrival in beautiful Cape Town, collect your vehicle and check in to your hotel for three nights. Spend the evening at leisure. Day 5: Franschhoek Spend the day exploring the charming town of Franschhoek.
