Day 5: Jasper National Park On this morning’s tour of Jasper National Park, view the turquoise waters of Maligne Lake, set in a canyon and ringed by snow- and ice-capped mountains. Optional Jasper river raft ride Day 6: Rocky Mountaineer - Kamloops Today you’ll board the famous Rocky Mountaineer train for a two-day journey to Kamloops and Vancouver. Take in the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and the river valleys. Special highlights are Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3,954 metres, and Pyramid Falls. You’ll also climb over Yellowhead Pass and along the North Thompson River as you approach Kamloops for an overnight stay. Day 7: Rocky Mountaineer - Vancouver From the comfort of your carriage, see the changes from winding river canyons to dramatic mountains as you head for Vancouver. Follow the Fraser River, home to British Columbia’s largest salmon fishing run, so keep your eyes peeled for bears trying to pluck a catch! Day 8: Vancouver Vancouver is surrounded by mountains, forests, and islands. On your sightseeing tour see Chinatown, Gas Town, Stanley Park and Granville Island, home to theatres, restaurants, shops, and an indoor market. Days 9-10: Vancouver The next two days in Vancouver are at leisure to spend as you please exploring the city. On your final evening, enjoy a farewell drink with your fellow travellers. Optional excursions to Vancouver Island and Vancouver North Shore Days 11-12: Vancouver - UK Today you’ll be transferred to the airport for your return overnight flight to the UK.

Today you’ll visit Banff National Park, home to huge pine forests, black and grizzly bears and other wonders including snow-capped peaks, crystal-clear lakes, and canyons. Then visit the Hoodoos, Surprise Corner and Bow Falls, and you might opt to take a ride on the Banff Gondola. Day 3: Lake Louise Head to Lake Louise today, often described as the most beautiful place in Canada, and admire the glacial green waters surrounded by mountains. Day 4: Banff - Jasper Head along the magnificent Icefields Parkway to Jasper National Park, and a stop at the Great Columbia Icefield along the way provides an opportunity to take an Ice Explorer ride across the Athabasca Glacier.
