In 2020, AFAS provided over $12.5 million in direct support to over 26,000 Airmen and their families . Air Force Aid Society has been named a 4-Star Charity since 2016. This is the highest rating possible by Charity Navigator, the nation’s leading independent evaluator of charitable organizations. Air Force Aid Society received this high rating as a result of our fiscal efficiency and transparency.
