The community came together last weekend to continue a 160-year-old tradition in Russell. From Thursday, September 6 to Sunday, September 9, homecraft exhibits, a midway, tractor and truck pulls, a demolition derby and live entertainment took over the village for the Russell Fair. Families, young kids and people of all ages enjoyed the amusement park games and rides at the Robertson Amusements midway. Over 11 000 visitors came to the Russell Fair throughout the entire weekend. —photo Caroline Prévost
