She’s Always AWoman

“We don’t really amount to much compared to our childish dreams.” That sentence had become excruciatingly frustrating, lingering in the front of his mind like an unwelcome guest. Alex could not remember for the life of him who had said it. Probably just some dumb schoolchild. His mind looked for a distraction. What would he do tonight? Not much - but he could ring up Lilly and… her hair was bright blond… thighs raised… panting … climacti- “What’s fifteen squared?” Alex answered Tracy’s question, recoiling almost visibly, as his reverie was broken by the need for hard fact. Alex looked at his tutee now, lying with her head above the grass. Alex recalled that they were in the park that day last week; Tracy had asked if she could have her lesson there after frolicking with her friends. As she sat on the grass, Alex thought that Tracy tilted her waist towards him and not ungracefully invited his palm to join it. He did not rise to the opportunity. Her figure was immaculate. Her hair raced right around her ear, spreading out over a white neck and onto her light-green dress.That dress rose up from the grass, thin enough to distract.How potent her future was at such a young age. A rip would be most revealing. The sun had gloriously cast their bold shadows; Alex’s engulfed an apple core that Tracy had not been bothered to throw away and when he bowed he was completely covered by her shadow. A week later Alex was walking to Tracy’s house and he thought of seeing her again. An old couple ahead of him crossed the road as he approached. Two giggling girls walked past and they hurled glances in his direction – why was holding an umbrella so funny? Was it not raining? Quickly embarrassed, he lowered his umbrella and let the drizzle of the rain, languidly falling upon
