U nderstanding the health and of BuildHealth NI’s annual conference held on October 5, at the Dunsilly Hotel in Antrim. The well-attended event heard from experts in the field’s of health, leadership development and construction networking who gave presentations on the following topics: Young people and technology; Psychology of the younger worker; Heath risks for young people from asbestos and dusts; Mental health and the younger worker and Wellbeing wellbeing needs of young people in construction was the theme
and diet risks for young people at work. BuildHealth NI is a joint venture between the construction industry in Northern Ireland and the country’s health and safety executive (HSENI) to improve the occupational health of the workforce in the sector.
